How To Fix Underexposed Photos
Underexposure occurs when a camera's light sensor records too little light. The resulting image suffers lost details and a picture that is too dark. While a small amount of underexposure can increase color saturation and create a beautiful color effect, too much underexposure requires correction using image processing software like PaintShop Pro. 1. Install PaintShop Pro
To install PaintShop Pro photo editing software on your PC, download and run the installation file above. Continue following on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
2. Select Fill Flash
Choose Adjust > Fill Flash.
3. Set Strength
Type or set a value from 0 to 100 in the Strength control to determine how much to lighten the darker areas.
4. Adjust Saturation
Type or set a value in the Saturation control to determine the overall saturation of the photo’s colors. Values less than 0 reduce saturation; values greater than 0 increase saturation. Click OK.
